Log into Parent Portal. On the left side of the home screen you will see tabs listed as Portal, School Information, Preferences, etc. Select the “Forms” tab. Select the “Online Applications” box which will appear under the “Forms” tab.

Library Media Services recently purchased Cameron’s Collection, a mental health and wellness e-book series for secondary students. The intended audience is 6th -12th grade students and parents. Access is anonymous. Flyers, posters, and bookmarks are being distributed at schools with QR codes for easy access.

If you have a registered Parent Portal account, visit https://focusk12.polk-fl.net/focus/ and enter your username and password. Your username is the personal email address that you used when you registered your account.

Guidance for PCPS Students Testing Positive for COVID-19 or Experiencing COVID-like Symptoms

Given the increase in COVID-19 cases due to the Omicron variant, Polk County Public Schools has updated guidance for families whose students have tested positive or are experiencing COVID-like symptoms.

Accepting or Declining Through Parent Portal

There are three possible alerts notifying you of your students Status that you will see on the Parent Portal.

Pending Acceptance Status

If your child has received a Pending Acceptance Status for any program then you will see an Alert that says:

Waitlisted Status

If your child has been Waitlisted for any program then you will see an Alert that says:

Accepted Status

Note: The Alert only displays the Application Title that you have Accepted for your student.

10 Day Window

In align with Polk Processes, families have 10 days from notification in which to Accept a Program. At the end of the 10 day window any Pending Acceptance Statuses remaining will automatically be declined, and removed for no response from all schools for which they applied. Your acceptance decision will be final.
