What is the mywsu online student portal?

This allows individuals to sign in to myWSU and view a student’s official WSU records, including financial account balances, financial aid, class schedules, grades and much more.

How do I Find my WSU grades and financial aid information?

This is done by going to my.WSU.edu > Profile > Third Party Access to set up a WSU friend ID. This allows you to view your student’s account balance, financial aid information, and grades—depending on what options they select for you.

Who has access to WSU information systems?

Access to WSU information systems is restricted to faculty, staff, students, and other individuals explicitly authorized by WSU. Use of this system is subject to all policies and procedures set forth by WSU.

How to contact Parent PLUS for a loan?

Federal direct loans — If you have any questions about your Parent PLUS credit decision (denial of credit, loan amounts, etc.), call the federal Student Loan Support Center toll-free at 1-800-557-7394.

Why is my parent denied a parent plus loan?

A parent borrower who is denied a Direct Parent PLUS Loan because of adverse credit information has certain rights and options. A parent may take the following actions to see if the loan may still be approved: Appeal the credit decision: Appeal directly to Federal Direct Loan (FDL) Program.

How much can a parent borrow on a PLUS loan?

Parent PLUS loan amounts will vary widely. You parent can borrow as much as they like as long as they are not exceeding your total cost of attendance. To figure out how much to borrow, follow this equation: Total annual cost of attendance — Other aid awarded = $ parent is allowed to borrow.
