What is the parent portal?

The Parent Portal is a great way for parents/guardians to stay connected to their student's grades, attendance, assessments, and important announcements. Parent Portal accounts are available for all students enrolled with Volusia County Schools and are easy to set up.


Enrolling in 21-22 school year?

Online registration is available for new registrations ONLY. The new, online system will allow parents and guardians to provide basic information about their child, including health details. Families of new students must still make an appointment with the school in order to finalize registration.


In order to access Online Registration, you must have an active ParentVUE account. To create an account for Online Registration, please click the button "More Options," select "Create a New Account," and follow the prompts.

When will school feeds continue?

The Summer Feeding model will continue through the 2020-2021 school year . At any point that students return for face-to-face instruction and a la carte options can safely be provided, parents must use SchoolCafé to add funds to their children’s meal accounts.

What is the National School Lunch Program?

National School Lunch Program. Participation in the National School Lunch Program requires that all students have access to lunch. Lunches are scheduled at various times during the school day. In high schools with block scheduling, some students' schedules may not show a lunch block.

Can you send cash to school before meal service?

Parents will be able to send in cash or checks prior to meal service once schools resume face-to-face instruction. At the elementary level, parents should place cash or checks in a sealed envelope with the student full name clearly marked. Envelopes should be submitted to the classroom teacher.
