In the blue stripe near the top of our website, you will find a new link for the Daymap Parent Portal. Once you have received your log in information, follow the link and log in to gain access to the Daymap information for your student/s. What is Canvas for Avenues?

Canvas is the Learning Management System (LMS) of choice for Avenues Secondary Division. The platform offers teachers and students the opportunity to broaden school walls through a variety of online interactions that are part of the learning process of our students. Parents are enrolled in Canvas courses as observers of their own children. They have access to general course information and grades. Avenues believes this access should be seen as a conversation starter, as it can help parents by giving a general overview of what their children are learning.

Can parents see pending assignments?

Connie was born in Chile, raised in Brazil, and lived many years in the U.K., where she trained to be an early childhood specialist. Prior to joining Avenues she taught nursery, pre-kindergarten, kindergarten and 2nd grade in both state and private schools in the U.K., Chile and Brazil.
