To access the Parent Portal, parents/guardians will need each child's Student Number, which can be found on the Student Information Verification Form sent home at the start of every school year, as well as an Access ID. The Access ID will be/has been provided in a sealed letter.

How to keep parents informed of their child's progress?

Parents are encouraged to keep themselves informed of their child's progress. This involves talking to their child each day about their school day. Ask your child about their friends, activities, teachers, and assignments. Not only should parents communicate with their child, but they should also contact their child's teachers every now and then just to touch base. Please remember that each teacher has around ninety students to keep track of, and teachers appreciate it when parents take the initiative to make contact and show interest in their child's education.

What is attendance in school?

ATTENDANCE - It is a joint parental and student responsibility to ensure that students are at school and on time every day. Attendance is taken each morning and the names of absent students are recorded at the office. If the office has not been informed of the child’s absence by parents, an attempt will be made to contact them.

What to do if a child leaves early for an appointment?

If a child must leave early for an appointment or other commitment, a note should be sent with the child to be shown at the office, or an early dismissal online submission, or even a phone call made to the office in the morning so it can be recorded on the attendance sheet.
