What is the OCS PowerSchool Parent Portal?

Welcome to the OCS PowerSchool Parent Portal Home Page! This resource is a web-based communication tool that allows parents/guardians secure access to view grade, assignment, and attendance information.

What is the parent portal and how do I login?

The Parent Portal is designed for access to all your children’s grades. We encourage you to visit the site often. The ‘User Name’ is provided for each parent and student by OCS. During your first visit to the Parent Portal you will need to use the generic password that was provided to you.

E-mail announcements

Because the OCS system spans 4 buildings, daily/weekly e-mail announcements are sent from the individual campuses. These announcements feature upcoming events, reminders, birthdays, lunch information, daily prayers and more. “In the Loop” contains important information from the OCS Central Office.

Text Alerts

Owensboro Catholic Schools provides alerts and updates via text message, including important announcements and breaking news. To sign up, click HERE.

Chromebook Insurance

Owensboro Catholic Schools is excited to announce a partnership with Seccuranty to offer students/parents the opportunity to purchase insurance for Chromebooks issued to students.

Parent-Teacher Conferences

Formal conferences are scheduled at the end of the first quarter though parents may request a conference with a teacher at any time throughout the year.

Progress Reports

Report cards are sent home every 9 weeks. Deficiencies are sent home mid-quarter for students with an average below a C.
