How many classes do Monte Vista students attend each day?

Monte Vista students attend 3 classes & Advisory daily according to our odd/even period schedule. On "odd" days they attend periods 1,3,5,7 and on "even" days they attend periods 2,4,6,8.

What is it like to be the principal of MVMs?

As the principal of MVMS, it gives me great pleasure to welcome you and your family to our school. Last year was an incredibly difficult year for our students, families, and teachers. Many of our families suffered due to COVID-19. Due to safety precautions, we all learned how to study and work online. Our students met the challenge!

When will Tracy Independent School return in 2021?

A parent letter is going out today regarding the 2021-2022 school year. We will be returning to school on August 9, 2021, with full time in person learning. If you do not want your child to attend in person learning, please refer to our Tracy Independent Study Charter School option. The website can be found HERE.

Q2 Report Cards

Quarter 2 report cards will be vieable on Parent Connect on January 28th at 12:00pm.

Middle School Basketball

All athletes MUST be cleared by the district nurse by completing & submitting an athletic clearance packet (this includes a sports physical from a Medical Doctor). Packets can be picked up and returned to the school office.

ELAC Meeting- All Parents Welcome

You are invited to an on-campus English Learner Advisory Committee meeting. We hope you will come to learn how Monte Vista can create a better educational environment for our English Learner students. Your thoughts and feedback are very valuable. Translator will be present.
