What is the Kingston Academy doing for parents?

At The Kingston Academy we have a vibrant parent community who are actively involved in organising events for parents and pupils. In our first year of operation FoTKA have organised a number of events including Quiz Night, Easter Raffle, School Disco, Interval Drinks at the Tempest, Children’s Quiz Night and many more.

We’d like to meet you! We are a leading trampolining club in the UK – Kingston trampoline academy. We offer trampoline classes for all ages and abilities. Based in South West London and North Surrey, we offer leisure, athlete and adult trampolining lessons. Trampoline gymnastics is exhilarating and so much fun at our trampolining club.

We're a trampolining club that's focused on helping you enjoy making the most of trampoline gymnastics, whether that’s for fun or striving to be the best in the world. In our trampoline classes, both recreational and athlete, we help our students to exceed their own expectations and most importantly have fun in a safe and controlled environment.

Summer Dates: When does my class finish and restart?

The Summer is fast approaching and classes at Kingston and Ham will soon be finishing for the summer break. The end and return dates for classes are outlined below. KTA Kingston Tuesday: The last class is on Tuesday 6 August. Classes return on Tuesday 10 September Thursday: The last class is on Thursday 8 August.

My Learning: Theory class pilot

Trampolining is not as simple as jumping up and down. To become technically competent it takes time and lots of practice to put you in control of the apparatus. Sometimes a deeper theoretical understanding is needed to learn and improve quickly.

Regional Assessment 4

Well done to everyone who took part in May's Regional Assessment. KTA had 10 competitors compete and came home with two qualifiers and six podium places. So far 2013 has produced 20 qualifiers and 21 podium places. Keep up the good work!

Time to say goodbye

From July Sarah will be taking a break from regular coaching. However Sarah will remain fully active within KTA directing the club and performing background tasks. Sarah anticipates to return to a coaching role in the future.

Summer Closures: Central Kingston

We have just received the closure dates from Arena at Kingston College and the facility will be closed 12th August to 9th September. This is much longer than the usual two weeks we close for. Apparently they have changed their enrollment procedures and need the sports hall for an extended period.

British Championships: Qualifier Update

The National Gala events are well underway with three events already held in Gillingham, Bath, Hull and Gillingham. The purpose of these events is to qualify for the British Championships in July. Qualifiers so far:
