What is Brooklyn Friends School?
The Brooklyn Friends School mission statement emphasizes the school’s commitment to educate each child in a diverse community. Our financial aid program supports that mission by striving to ensure socioeconomic diversity within our student population. We work diligently to make our school accessible to as many families of varying economic backgrounds as possible.
What is considered a stay at home parent?
If all children are of school age and one parent is a “stay-at-home” parent, the financial aid committee, through TADS, will consider the earning potential of that parent. The financial circumstances of both parents are considered when determining a grant, whether parents are custodial parents or not.
