How do I login to the parent portal?

First attempt to login by entering your valid Parent Portal Username (Leave the password field blank, Your user name should be the email address you provided to the school). Click Login, then follow the prompts for "New User or Forgot Password?".

The district uses a program called SchoolTool to manage its student information. The Parent Portal is a feature of SchoolTool which provides parents and guardians with secure online access to their child's student records (Only Parents and Guardians of students enrolled in the district may apply):

How do I Register my child for focus Parent Portal?

You must also complete and sign the "Request for Focus Parent Portal Access" form and return it to your child's school. You may also add your other children during this registration process. It is only necessary to return one Access form but each child must be listed at the bottom of the form.

FORGOT MY PASSWORD

You must know your Username, which is the email address you registered with. Click here.

REQUEST A "NEW" PARENT PORTAL ACCOUNT

You must have a valid email address, your child's Date of Birth, and your child's Local Student ID. You may also use his/her SSN as an option, although not required. Click here.

Guidelines for use

The Washingtonville Central School District's SchoolTool Parent Portal is a free service offered to all district parents. It is a protected Internet site that allows the viewing of their student's school information. This access intends to enhance communication and dialog between school and home.

First Time Use

Scroll down to the middle of the page and click on the SchoolTool icon (mobile app will be discussed below).

Subsequent Use

Enter Username and Password, which is your email address and the password created above.

What information is available in SchoolTool?

Once login is complete, navigate back to the Students tab. Click the dark blue student record icon next to a student's picture and/or name to view this individual student's record. This information includes:
