How do I set up an account with my SRU student?

Your SRU student must give you access as a Proxy to set up the initial account. The assigned Proxy will be able to view student information such as mid-term grades; final grades; student class schedule; student account information; financial aid information.

How do I contact SRU tutoring services?

724.738.2845 (Monday-Thursday 9am-6:30pm and Friday 11am-4:00pm) or email: SRU_tutoring@sru.edu. Please allow a reasonable amount of time for a response. Tutoring Services will continue to be available and free for any SRU student. For the 2020-2021 Academic Year, tutoring will be offered through an online experience.

Where is the SRU Student Health Center?

A registered nurse is available 24/7 during the academic year. SRU's caring and competent health care team is standing by to help you take care of yourself. What is the total cost of tuition at SRU?

TOTAL. $21,200. $25,350. $29,300. In addition to the costs for tuition, fees, room, and board, students will incur costs for books, supplies, transportation, and miscellaneous educational expenses. SRU expects these annual expenses will be approximately $4,400 for Pennsylvania undergraduates.

Living at SRU

As you are preparing to deliver your students to their assigned residence hall, please label all items with your last name, hall, and room number so the WOW volunteers can take your belongings to the correct room and expedite the move-in process.

Slippery Rock University understands that the college experience extends far beyond academics. Students are faced with many challenges during their college experience including exposure to alcohol and drugs.

Student Involvement

Please encourage your student to apply to be a part of this interactive leadership program designed specifically for first-year students and first semester transfer students.  Students will have the opportunity to meet other students, work with a peer mentor who can answer questions about life on campus, learn valuable leadership skills that they will use for the remainder of their time at SRU and after graduation; and, most importantly, gain valuable connections to the SRU campus community which will help them successfully adjust to college life!  Students who graduate from the program are able to apply for a full tuition scholarship, renewable for four years (scholarship is reserved for a PA residents)..
