How does banner self-service work at Saint Louis University?

Students at Saint Louis University may use Banner Self-Service to grant parents, guardians or third parties access to their academic records, student accounts, financial aid, housing or conduct records through mySLU Share . This access must be given by the student. Saint Louis University cannot grant this access outside of this process.

What is the SLU parent and Family Association?

Parents and families are a valued part of our SLU community, every member of which is devoted to the academic and personal success of students. The Billiken Parent and Family Association — of which you are automatically a member — will keep you up to date about events and issues that may impact your student's experience.

What is mySLU authorized user?

Parents Parents, guardians or other third parties need access to Saint Louis University’s bill payment suite to view a student's bill, make payments or enroll in a payment plan. Your student can register you as an authorized user in mySLU under the tools tab.

myslu.slu.edu is easy to use and easy to access. All you need is internet connectivity. The mySLU portal provides access to Google Apps, People Finder, Blackboard Learn, Banner Self-Service, student records, employee records and more.

mySLU Share Portal

The mySLU Share portal allows you grant your parents, guardians or other third parties authorized a ccess to your student information. mySLU Share is available within myslu.slu.edu and Banner Self-Service.

Canvas

Saint Louis University uses Canvas for its learning management system. This application supports faculty and student customers on both the St. Louis and Madrid campuses and provides access to many tools that support SLU's educational mission.

Panopto

Panopto is lecture capture software that records content shown on a computer screen, such as a PowerPoint presentation, along with the instructor's audio. Panopto captures, stores and indexes this content online for students to watch at their convenience.

Where is SLU Madrid located?

Where is the campus located in Madrid? SLU-Madrid is located in an ideal setting, on the northwest side of the city , with open views of the mountains to the north and west, and superb metro (subway) and bus access. Where do students live? There are several options to choose from with regards to housing in Madrid.

Is SLU Madrid accredited?

Academics and Accreditation. Is SLU Madrid an accredited American university? Yes. The University in Madrid is a branch campus of Saint Louis University in St. Louis, Missouri. It is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission. In Spain it is recognized by the Spanish Consejería de Educación de la Comunidad de Madrid.

Does SLU Madrid have Spanish classes?

No. Most classes offered at SLU-Madrid are taught in English, so students don't need any prior knowledge of Spanish to attend. Students whose native language is not English have to provide evidence of their English level by submitting a TOEFL, IELTS or Duolingo exam prior to being considered for admission.

When are spring semester payments due?

Spring semester: Jan. 4, Feb. 1, March 1, April 1 and May 2. Payments are always due on the first of each month. When the first falls on a weekend or holiday, payments are due on the first business day following the weekend or holiday.

Can a parent give access to MySLU?

If you are a parent, guardian or other third party, students can give you access to Payment Suite and their e-bill independently of MySLU. This process requires two steps:
