What are the requirements to be a parent?

Parents must live within the district and must be a custodial parent or guardian of a student currently enrolled in a district school. Parents may not also be PfISD employees.

Princeton ISD schools and offices will be closed Dec. 20-Dec. 31, for Christmas break. Teachers return Jan. 3-4 for staff development and work days, but these two days will be student holidays. Normal classes and office hours will resume Wednesday, Jan. 5.

When do parents need to fill out transportation form?

Parents must fill out the form for EACH student in the household that needs transportation. All routes will be put on the transportation page district website. Parents will need to check the transportation page on the website to see what the bus number, stop, and times are for their student after August 1, 2019.

How long does it take to get a child nutrition card?

Parents can complete the application before the school year begins. Upon receipt of the application, child nutrition has 10 days to process and provide notification on the approval/denial of meal benefits.

LISD honors exemplary alumna, adds children's author to 'Hall of Honor'

LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) - A Lubbock ISD elementary school honored one of its exemplary alumnae today. Jennifer Coleman is a children's book author and came to celebrate Cowboy Day at Williams Elementary. She read her newest book and sang along with students. She also signed copies of her work for them.

PfISD Food and Child Nutrition Services and Aramark will be serving curbside meals (weather permitting) on Friday, Jan. 21 and Monday, Jan. 24 when the schools are closed.
