Why pioneer Gymnastics Academy?

Our GOAL at Pioneer Gymnastics Academy is to TEACH children of all ages and ability levels the sport of gymnastics in a SAFE, ENERGETIC and FUN environment. We believe that the best way to teach and encourage young athletes is by positive reinforcement balanced with structure and discipline to ensure everyone’s safety.

What is participation in a preschool gymnastics class?

Participation in a preschool gymnastics class is an opportunity for children to begin experiencing gymnastics without the help of parents. Your child will begin to learn and master skills at this level.

What is the role of the parent/guardian in gymnastics?

The parent/guardian is to encourage the young gymnast and help them through their circuits. The parent/guardian and gymnast will explore various basic gymnastics movements on the bars, beams, floor, and trampoline on equipment designed to meet the needs of our smaller gymnasts.

What do gymnasts learn in homeschool classes?

Homeschool classes are offered to girls and boys between the ages of 6 and 12. The gymnasts in these classes will learn basic gymnastics skills on vault, bars, beam, floor, rings, pommel horse, parallel bars, and trampoline. We teach this class using circuits, stations, and basic progressions.
