What is a new student registration?

New Student Registration is for students who are new to York School District 1. The four-step process begins with online registration and concludes with a visit to the child's school to submit registration documentation.

Do returning students have to register?

All returning students are required to complete registration each year. Returning Student Registration is completed entirely online and provides the district with updated contact information.

Good evening and Happy Valentine's Day! Thank you for another great week! Interim reports were sent home this past Wednesday. Please contact your child's teacher if you have any questions. Also, please don't forget that this Friday, February 18 and next Monday, February 21 are now regular school days.

Class of 2024 Ring Meeting

Representatives from Jostens will be meeting with the 10th grade class on Tuesday, February 15 to distribute information about High School Rings. Please be sure to review the information your student brings home on Tuesday.

Calendar Updates

As you are aware, we missed several days in January due to inclement weather. The YSD1 District Calendar has been adjusted. Friday, February 18 and Monday, February 21 are now regular school days for all students and staff.

Junior IGP Conferences

We will begin Junior IGP Conferences on Monday, February 21-March 11. We hope you can attend this informational meeting, where we will discuss your student’s graduation progress, post-secondary plans, and potential course requests for the senior year. We will be scheduling appointments for our students.

School Improvement Council Meeting

You are invited to attend our the next School Improvement Council Meeting on Tuesday, February 22 at 6:00 PM in the YCHS Media Center. We hope to see you there!

Attendance Recovery

Attendance Recovery is offered Monday through Thursday from 3:45 until 5:15 in the Media Center.

Cougars on Parade

Cougars on Parade will be held on Thursday, March 3, 2022 from 5 PM until 7 PM in the YCHS Gym. Cougars on Parade is an opportunity for parents to come see all the programs, clubs, organizations, and teams we have to offer. We hope to see you there!
