What is the SBSD Parent Portal?
The SBSD Parent Portal provides secure, online access for parents/guardians to manage their student's demographic information, emergency contacts, medical conditions, and attendance data. A student verification code is required to create an account.
How do I access my child's information in the school system?
If you have more than one child in the school system (grades 6-12) you may access all your children's information by a Parent login. Parent K-5 will be able to find homeroom teacher placement through the Genesis Parent Portal. Middle School Parents will find out Unit/Team placement for their children through the Genesis Parent Portal.
How do I access the Genesis Parent Portal?
We open the Genesis Parent Portal late August, each year. How do I create an account to access my student's Genesis information? If you have provided your child's school main office with an email address, then you will receive a Genesis system generated email with your username (email address provided) and password.
Can I open email attachments from SBS portals?
SBS Portals CloudIT Suites Login Caution:Confirmation emails or files from SBS Portals will never have a ZIP file attachment. Please DO NOT OPEN the attachments if you receive emails with ZIP files.

What is the purpose of a middle school gradebook?
Middle and High School Parents are able to frequently monitor their child's progress and teachers can use their gradebook to give parents and students information on academic progress and attendance.
Do you see your student data summary on your child's dashboard?
Yes, the first screen you will seen is your child's Student Data Summary. This is your child's Dashboard screen. You will see a 'dashboard' for every child linked to your login. All your children will be on one screen.

What is the purpose of SBS?
Our goal is to create a strong parent community and to help facilitate beneficial dialogue between the school and its current parents. We aim to support parents by hosting valuable and worthwhile events, seminars, and conferences, and provide opportunities for fellowship and social interaction among parents by hosting both in-person local events and remote events. We also host events and other activities for the purpose of appreciation and encouragement to the S BS faculty and staff .

Students enrolled after the start of the school year will receive login information at the time of enrollment from the school office.
Can each parent have a parent portal account?
Each parent can have a SBSD Parent Portal account for one or more associated students. Please coordinate as to which parent will perform the Student Data Confirmation process.
