Portal has been replaced with a new parent portal application called ParentVUE. To access ParentVUE, parents will need to activate a new parent portal account. In order to activate your account, MCPS parents will receive an account activation letter that includes a unique Activation Key or URL necessary for setting up a ParentVUE account.

PowerSchool Student and Parent portal Access IDs and passwords can be manually or automatically assigned individually or by group. It is important to note that in addition to a Student Username and Password, each student is assigned an Access ID and an Access Password.
To notify parents and guardians of the Access IDs and Access Passwords they will use to link students to their account, create a form letter that includes the data access tags ^ (web_ID) and ^ (web_Password).
PowerSchool Parent Single Sign-On – with this you can access multiple students with one login. This feature allows each parent or guardian the ability to create their own individual account and retrieve login information.
Parents will need to stop by the Front office, show your ID and then you will be given your students Access ID and Access Password. This cannot be given out over the phone.
