Students who pay Pace University first and are subsequently reimbursed by their employers do not fall under third-party, sponsored-billing. Students who receive reimbursement upon submission of grades or completion of sponsor terms must adhere to the University's established payment due dates.
If you have any questions about the payment process or system, please contact us at (877) 672-1830 (toll-free), (212) 346-1930 (toll), or firstname.lastname@example.org. Student billing is on a semester-basis. Billing statements as of print date are emailed to students' Pace-issued email accounts.

Nancy Gray left Poly and PACE after eight years to become a language arts consultant. She has stated that her “years in PACE were the best of [her] career.” All of us in PACE today can only hope that she feels the depth of our appreciation for her vision
Each year PPG awards at least 10 scholarships to college-bound Seniors.
The story of the creation of PACE goes back to 1975 when the Long Beach Unified School District faced the reality of court-ordered busing to desegregate Poly High School.
As such, the PACE program absolutely relies on the generous support of its families, community friends and alumni. All donations are tax deductible and are used exclusively for the benefit of PACE students.
If you fail to furnish your correct SSN or ITIN to Pace University, you are subject to a penalty of $50 imposed by the IRS unless your failure is due to reasonable cause and not to willful neglect. Periodic reviews will be done by the University to check for students without SSNs on file. Those students will be sent requests to submit SSN information by completing Pace Substitute W-9S Form, Request for Student's or Borrower's Taxpayer Identification Number and Certification.
Box 1. The amount reported in Box 1 is the total amount of payments received for qualified tuition and related expenses from all sources during calendar year 2020. The IRS rules define qualified tuition and related expenses as tuition and fees required for enrollment. Qualified expenses do not include room and board, health insurance, medical expenses, or other personal expenses. Additionally, if you received any type of tuition waiver during the calendar year, the amount of charges reported in Box 1 will be reduced by the amount of tuition waiver proceeds.
In previous years, your 1098-T included a figure in Box 2 that represented the qualified tuition and related expenses (QTRE) we billed to your student account for the calendar (tax) year. Due to a change to institutional reporting requirements under federal law, beginning with tax year 2018, we will report in Box 1 the amount of payments towards QTRE during the year.
1098-T forms for 2020 will be available to view and print via your MyPace Portal account by January 31, 2021. Students will not be mailed a copy of their 2020 1098-T form.
Payment plan installments will automatically recalculate to reflect any changes in comprehensive fees, financial aid, or other miscellaneous fees and/or payments. The plan is set up to pay the remainder balance due on the account after charges and financial aid, or any other payments are applied to the account.
The amount reported in Box 5 includes all grants, scholarships administered and processed by Pace University's Financial Aid Office, as well as waivers and payments received by the university from governmental agencies for VA, ROTC, or other similar benefits in the calendar year. In addition, the scholarship and grant amounts reported in Box 5 may include scholarship amounts for room and board, which may not need to be considered when calculating education tax credits or deductions..
