What is a parent portal?

MISTAR ParentPortal is a web application that provides parents with direct access to student data via the Internet. Using a confidential PIN (personal identification number) and password, parents can connect to the school district's student database using a web browser and view their child's data, such as progress reports, attendance records, report cards, transcripts, and more.

Does Northville Public School require a background check?

Northville Public School District requires that a criminal background check via the Internet Criminal History Access Tool (ICHAT) with the Michigan State Police be conducted for any volunteers or individuals who work with NPS students.

Physical Form and Medical History

All students must have a current physical on file to participate in middle school and high school athletics. A current-year physical is one given on or after April 15 of the previous school year. Please submit your sports physical through FinalForms.

Pay to Participate Information

All students participating in athletics in Grades 6 -12 will pay a one-time yearly fee. There is a $770 per family maximum.

Middle School Athletics

Because of restrictions by the Michigan High School Athletic Association, the governing body of athletics for middle schools and high school in the state of Michigan, interscholastic athletic competition is only available for 7th and 8th graders. However, there are many activities that 6th graders may participate in and some of these are athletic.

Parent Survey

The purpose of this survey is to obtain information and comments from student-athletes and parents regarding the recent sports season that would help improve the athletic programs offered by the Northville Public Schools. We plan to periodically survey student-athletes and parents following each season.

Northville Public Schools will be CLOSED on Friday, February 18, 2022 due to inclement weather. As a reminder, there is no school on Monday, February 21, 2022 due to mid-winter break. Classes resume on Tuesday, February 22, 2022.
