What is a parent mentor?

A Parent Mentor is the parent of a child with a disability employed by a local education agency to help school districts and families by providing training, support and information services. Districts have a responsibility to develop, support and implement a system of education services for all students.

How do I make payments to mentor schools?

If you would like to avoid the convenience fee, you can make payments to Mentor Schools via check or cash by visiting the Administration Building at 6451 Center Street. Checks can also be mailed to: Treasurer’s Office, 6451 Center Street, Mentor, Ohio 44060, but please do not mail cash.

This year Mentor inducted 6 individuals into the Mentor High School Distinguished Alumni Hall of Fame for the 2022 year. Congratulations to Lawrence Clement Sr Class of 1962, Pamela Jones Tice Class of 1967, Karen Blankshaen Class of 1982, Michelle Hamlett Farley Class of 1992, Craig D. Sundstrom Class of 2003 and Alison Reilly Lutes Class of 2011.

Mentor Public Library Hold Lockers at Mentor High School

Picking up books, movies, and anything else from your local library just got more convenient! Mentor Public Library has installed hold lockers outside of Mentor High School near the entrance to the gymnasium between the Fine Arts Center and Paradigm building.
