Parent and Family Center

Our parent center is open daily to support parents, families, and the community. Angelica Cardenas, our community representative is available to assist with getting registered for Parent Portal, sharing volunteer opportunities, and to conduct parent workshops! To become an official volunteer, please call Ms. Cardenas at: 323.838.6000.

ADDITIONAL PARENT RESOURCES

Family and Student Handbook to support our families with starting the 2020-2021 school year is available for download. It is meant to be a guide to help parents and students with information needed in the days leading up to and through the first weeks of school. Limited physical copies will be available in our Main Office at a later date.

BYBL Champs !

Congrats to the Hawks on their BYBL Championship. Congrats also to the LadyHawks on their second place finish.

Maywood BOE Reorganization

Congratulations to re-elected BOE members Mr. Kevin Taylor and Mr. Julio Bendezu. Congratulations also to newly elected BOE member Ms. Genevieve Stelter.

Becton Guidance Meeting

Becton and Maywood Guidance teams work with Maywood 8th graders as they plan their high school schedules.

Heroes Honored

We always say that we work with heroes among us. That was never more true then when MAS teacher Mr. Wells, and MAS alum AJ Esposito, saved a woman in distress at the Maywood pool. They were justly honored by Congressman Gottheimer at the "Hometown Heroes" ceremony.
