What is Marietta City Schools (MCS)?

Marietta City Schools (MCS) is a Charter System that serves more than 8,900 students at eight elementary choice schools, one sixth grade academy, one middle school, and one high school.

How do I view my child's grades and attendance in MCS?

Marietta City Schools (MCS) parents/guardians now have access to a new program to view their child's grades and attendance. Aspen, the new MCS student information system provides a parent support feature: Aspen Family Portal (AFP) that replaces i-Parent, the former grades and attendance program for parents.

What's new in 2021 in Marietta City Schools?

Marietta City Schools is #14 on the AJC's Top Work Places for 2021! Effective July 1, 2021, all children 16 years of age and older, who are entering the 11th grade, must have received one booster dose of the meningococcal conjugate vaccine (MCV4) unless their initial dose was administered on or after their 16th birthday.

Georgia Milestones Assessment System (GMAS)

Students in grades 3-8 will take the Georgia Milestones End of Grade Assessments (EOG).
