What does Los Gatos-Saratoga Community Education and Recreation do?

Los Gatos-Saratoga Community Education and Recreation, in partnership with the Town of Los Gatos, provides comprehensive Senior Services that include community building activities, classes, trips, referral services, volunteer opportunities, and more.

Where is the Los Gatos Senior Services Program?

The Senior Services Program is housed in the Los Gatos Adult Recreation Center, located at 208 East Main Street. The 55 Plus Office is open Monday – Friday from 9:00AM – 12:00PM. You can also reach us at 55plus@lgsrecreation.org or call 408-354-1514.

What time are swim lessons at Los Gatos high school?

Saturdays 11:00-11:50am. LGS Aquatics swim lessons are held at Los Gatos High School Community Aquatics Center. Swim instructors are required to wear face masks when teaching from the pool deck and in the shallow end. Camp will return for Winter Break February 21-25 and Spring Break April 11-15!

With programs for infants to teens, participants will learn the magic of theater and music. Whether it is learning to play a new instrument or writing a backyard theater play, there is something for everyone.

Los Gatos-Saratoga Community Education and Recreation was formed in 1956 by the Los Gatos-Saratoga Union High School District.

The mission of LGS Recreation is to provide fee-based public recreation programs for Los Gatos, Monte Sereno, Saratoga and the Los Gatos mountain communities, as well as to provide fee-based supplemental education programs and child care services for Los Gatos Union School District, Saratoga Union School District and Los Gatos-Saratoga Union High School District..

What is Los Gatos Masters Swim?

The Los Gatos Masters Swim program will provide the individual with opportunities to improve swimming performance through expert coaching, as well as promote a healthy, active lifestyle. The program is designed for people who want to learn to swim with greater ease and efficiency. Los Gatos Masters welcomes swimmers of all abilities, age 18 or over, who are interested in regular, structured workouts. Previous competitive swimming experience is not necessary. Los Gatos Masters (LGM) is a registered US Masters Swimming (USMS) program and each participant must be registered through the USMS in order to reserve a lane for Masters Swim workouts.

What is LGS Aquatics?

Camp LGS Aquatics is the perfect multi-sport camp for 7-10 year olds. Camp ers will receive instruction on 3 sports: swimming, water polo, and log rolling. While learning something new, log rollers will improve balance, footwork and core strength. Stepping back and forth atop a spinning Key Log greatly improves cardiovascular and muscular endurance. Please arrive in your swimsuit and don't forget to wear a mask; LGS Aquatics swim cap is included.

Take the stress out of day trip traveling. We offer a wide range of trips and excursions all around the bay area with arrangements for meals and transportation.

Adults can register for upbeat classes like Jazzercise or wind down with Yoga in the evening. Attend class online or in-person.
