Allergy Awareness

Lopez is a nut aware school. We have several students with life threatening nut allergies. Please think Win-Win, and send snacks that won't hurt those with allergies: Peanut/Tree Nut Free Snacks.

7 Habits Resources for Parents

As your students learn the 7 habits, and develop their leadership skills at school, the Leader in Me website has some great tools and information for parents to reinforce the habits at home. Check out the reading list that contains children’s books you can share together, or this helpful parent guide.

NWEA MAP Testing

Throughout the Poudre School District, 2nd-5th grade students are tested on both Math and Reading on NWEA's MAP (Measures of Academic Progress) tests 3 times per year (Fall, Winter, and Spring). You can help your student prepare for this testing! Here are a couple helpful websites:

CMAS Testing

Colorado Measures of Academic Success testing occurs every spring for 3rd-5th graders. Students will take a Language Arts and Mathematics assessment, and 5th graders take a Science assessment. Are you interested in learning more, or maybe even trying out some sample questions? You can access CMAS resources online.
