Rebirth Grants

With the help of this grant, the Iberia African American Historical Society hosted a symposium honoring the 75th anniversary of the 1944 racial incident that led to the loss of all African American doctors in Iberia Parish. 2021 applications have been extended to September 24.

Rebirth Grants New Timeline, Deadline for 2022

To avoid disruptions during hurricane season, the LEH is adjusting its annual Rebirth Grant application timeline, with applications opening April 1 and closing May 31, 2022.

Starting April 4, 2022, the National Endowment for the Humanities will require all non-profit entities seeking grants from the Louisiana Endowment for the Humanities to have a Unique Entity Identifier (UEI) in SAM.gov.
