How do I access my email account at Leek High?

Staff Webmail allows you to access your email account just as if you were at school, click here to access Microsoft Outlook Office 365 mail. Webmeeting / Webinar start page, this link allows you to create and join meetings and lessons hosted at Leek High.

What is the PowerSchool Parent Portal?

The PowerSchool Parent Portal is one component of the PowerSchool Student Information System that provides parents/guardians with access to view their child’s grades and attendance information. Is the Parent Portal secure?

How do I access insight as a parent?

As a parent or carer, you will be issued with a unique username and password for INSIGHT the school’s secure online parent portal which will enable you to view the up to date information regarding your child’s attendance, behaviour and progress. To access INSIGHT, click here and log in with your username and password.

We have limited experience using Linux as a desktop at Leek High, however you can find information and downloads from the rdesktop home page. You should then be able to use the settings below to connect to our system.

How do I access the Parent Portal?

Once you have that you will type https://lex.powerschool.com/public in the address bar on your internet browser. (The recommended browser for use is Mozilla Firefox). On your first login you will create an account by following the "Create a New Account" instructions above.

What if I forget my username or password?

If you forget your username or password, you can click on the “Having Trouble Signing In?” link on the sign in page and PowerSchool will email your information to you.

Can parents create their own school account?

Yes, each parent can create their own account with their own username and password. One access ID will be given per student upon initial request. Additional access can be obtained in person at your child’s school.

Is the Parent Portal secure?

Yes it is, the program requires a username and password that the individual user will create. It also has SSL encryption which is signified by the https: in the URL.

When will parents update their contact information on Focus?

Beginning WEDNESDAY March 18th 2020 parents with portal accounts will be able to update THEIR contact information in the web portal on FOCUS. Do not use the app – login into a browser using Google Chrome or Firefox.

How to submit documents to home zoned school?

Step 1: Log into your Existing Portal Account. If you already have a Parent Portal account for another student that is already enrolled in a LCS school, simply log into the Parent Portal with your existing Parent Portal acct. Step 2: Open the Online Application.

Can you update your contact info in Focus Portal?

YOU can now update your contact info in your Focus Portal account!!
