In recognition of Suicide and Bullying Prevention Months, which are September and October respectively, the Glynn County School System will join other school districts across the nation in a campaign to end social isolation, bullying and youth violence.

Combos

Combo classes give young dancers ages 10 and younger the chance to try multiple styles. Each style will be done for half the time.

Ballet

Ballet is the fundamental to all other styles of dance. It teaches proper body alignment, strength, and graceful movement. The method taught here is Vaganova (also commonly referred to as Russian). Classes will follow an eight year lesson curriculum designed to help a dancer become a full proficient dancer.

Modern

Modern allows the body to have free flowing movement while still using basic fundamentals to create art. It allows the dancers to be creative, use improvisation, and find new and exciting ways to use the body.

Jazz

Jazz is one of the most popular forms of dance. It includes strength, flexibility, and conditioning technique. Dancers will learn fun popular dance moves.

Hip Hop

Hip hop is a fun free style type of dance. This involves isolation and lock and pop.

Acro

Acro Attire: Comfortable pants or shorts, t-shirt or tank top. bare feet.
