What should Lagrange 102 community and staff know about construction projects?
Community and staff should be aware that the school district is obligated legally to follow all state bidding requirements and codes as well as all state labor prevailing wage statutes for any building or construction projects funded by LaGrange 102. LaGrange 102 has no input or influence on Fresh Coast Solar subcontracting methods or decisions.
What is Lagrange 102 doing about solar panels?
It should also be pointed out that LaGrange 102 is not financing or paying for any costs associated with the installation of these solar panels. The district’s role in this project is to provide the facilities to Fresh Coast Solar for solar panel installation with the purpose of district energy savings and purchasing renewable energy.
When is SEA in LCPS?
LCPS goes to SEA for summer of learning and fun. LCPS’s Summer Enrichment Academy, or SEA, will run June 14-July 22 with classes Monday through Thursday from 7:50 a.m. to 3 p.m. The district will provide transportation and no-cost breakfast and lunch, just as in a regular school year.
Does LCPS have PCR?
LCPS has expanded its corps of school nurses, added the highly accurate PCR test and teamed up with a private firm to interpret test results. The changes are expected to get students back to school sooner, make testing more convenient, and provide some relief for school nurses for whom the work of Covid testing, contact tracing and notification has come to overshadow their myriad other responsibilities.
Kindergarten Registration
La Grange Elementary Kindergarten PRE-Registration is scheduled for Mon, Mar 16, 2020 from 9 - 1pm, and again from 4 – 6pm.
Summer Registration
La Grange Elementary holds REGISTRATION DAYS prior to the beginning of the school year. This gives parents the opportunity to complete ALL NECESSARY registration FORMS & PAY ALL FEES the day of registration.
