How do I login to Kolbe Academy as a parent?

You will be asked to enter a zip code upon his/her first login. Enter 94559, then select “Kolbe Academy” from the drop-down list that appears. If you are unable to log in to your Schoology Parent account, you can request a password reset by submitting a tech support ticket or by emailing techsupport@kolbe.org.

What is the parentplus web portal?

The ParentPlus web portal connects parents and students with schools and teachers. As a parent, you can quickly stay informed about what’s happening at the school and your children’s classes—from knowing if the school is closed on a given day to seeing how well your child did on his or her last homework or exam.

What is Kolbe’s CEEB code?

For U.S. membership, Kolbe’s discount number, which must be provided on the application, is # 295160. Students will need Kolbe’s CEEB code when registering for standardized tests.

What is a grade report?

A grade report is a sampling of the student’s work sent to the advisors by the parent, along with a report card of grades. An advisor reviews the work, verifies the grades assigned, makes comments, and sends a report to the parents. Grades are verified by sending work samples. Please see “Reporting Grades to Kolbe Academy” in the Parent Handbook for more details.

Do you need a CEEB code for PSAT?

When registering for the PSAT, Kolbe suggests using the homeschool code so that student’s will be put in the running for the National Merit Scholarship program through their own state instead of through California where Kolbe is based.

When to Expect Account Access

If you are a parent to an online student, you will receive login information for yourself and your student (s) via email within 3 business days before the start of the online school year.

Our Recordkeeping Services

Registered families who desire verification of grades and coursework for official grade records or transcripts must submit a grade report consisting of a portfolio of student sample work with recommended grades each quarter for students in grades K-5 and each semester for students in grades 6-12.

Submitting Your Grade Report

Kolbe recommends filing reports quarterly for grades K-5 and at the end of each semester for grades 6-12. The portfolio of student sample work should include a minimum of one graded sample per subject per quarter in grades K-5 and two graded samples per subject per semester in grades 6-12. Reporting forms can be found in the Welcome Packet.
