How do I access Johns Hopkins MyChart?
Once you are enrolled, you can access Johns Hopkins MyChart from your smartphone, tablet or computer. Visit mychart.hopkinsmedicine.org or download the app from the iTunes or Google Play stores. Parents/guardians can request a proxy account and will have full access to the child’s MyChart information.
How do I complete the parent portal agreement?
Complete the Parent Portal Agreement. This is a Google form that can be completed on your computer or smart phone. If you have questions, please email co.attendance@hopkins.kyschools.us.
How do I log in to SIS for authorized users?
If this is your first time logging in, you need to follow the link received in your email to complete the first time setup. For users with an existing Google or Microsoft account, this one-time process will lead you through the steps to log in to SIS for Authorized Users for the first time using your current Google or Microsoft email credentials.

1. In the email, click the Complete Authorized User Account Set Up link. You may or may not be presented with the Johns Hopkins Sign In page. If so, enter your email address and click Next. 2. Sign In: Enter your email address, click Next. On the next screen, enter the password for that email address, click Next.

Can a parent give access to a student's J card?
Students can set up an account for a parent or guardian which gives them access to their schedule, grades, billing, financial aid, and J-Card information. If you require access to any of these features, you must get your student to grant the access.

Signing Up for MyChart
All access to records through MyChart requires a MyChart account. Parents and guardians can be granted “proxy access” to the accounts for their children. Please select the category below that applies to you for instructions on how to sign up for MyChart:
I am older than 13 and would like my own account
Reach out to your provider's office and they can help you activate your MyChart account.
I am a parent of a child under 13 years of age
Reach out to your child’s provider and they can send you an enrollment link for a MyChart account with proxy access to your child’s records.
I am a parent of a child aged 13-17 years old
Reach out to your child’s provider and they can send you an enrollment link for a MyChart account with proxy access that will give you access to message your child’s care team and view or pay bills.
I am a parent of a patient who is 18 or older
In order to grant access to their account, a patient 18 years of age or older must create their own MyChart account by visiting MyChart.HopkinsMedicine.org and select “Sign Up Now” or by calling their practitioner.
I am a parent of a patient who is incapacitated
If you are responsible for the care of a person who is cognitively limited or otherwise incapacitated, please visit the MyChart Proxy Access page for details on how to gain access to MyChart for this patient.
