What is the parent portal and how does it work?

The Parent Portal is designed for access to all your children’s grades. We encourage you to visit the site often. The ‘User Name’ is provided for each parent and student by OCS.

What information is included in the PowerSchool Parent Portal?

The PowerSchool Parent Portal gives you information about your child's grades, attendance, discipline records, teacher notes and much more. Enrollment Info.

How often do I need to visit the parent portal?

We encourage you to visit the site often. The ‘User Name’ is provided for each parent and student by OCS. During your first visit to the Parent Portal you will need to use the generic password that was provided to you. Please let us know if you have any trouble accessing the site.

OCS Announcements

Due to increasing absences of employees and students, all Oneonta City Schools will transition to Remote Learning tomorrow and Friday. Students will not report to school tomorrow, Jan. 13 or Friday, Jan. 14. Since schools were scheduled to be closed this coming Monday, Jan. 17, this means students' first day back will be next Tuesday, Jan. 18.
