What is the HSD Parent Portal?

Stay Connected and Informed! The HSD Parent Portal is a communications tool designed to enhance and increase parent/guardian involvement in the education of their children.The portal provides parents/guardians with secure online access to our Student Information System.

What's new for parents in Harrison School District two?

Parents can also utilize District 2′s new, and free, before- and after-school program for their kids while they learn. The Colorado Department of Education awarded Harrison School District Two a competitive grant called the Comprehensive Literacy State Development Grant.

Do students and parents need to login to the district website?

Students and parents DO NOT need to login to the district website. This Logins page for students and parents is always visible.

What is PowerSchool and the parent portal?

PowerSchool is the student information system that the HSD uses to manage information such as grades, attendance, demographics, courses, etc. Since PowerSchool is web-based, some of this information can easily and safely be shared with parents and students via an online portal. Can I access the Parent Portal from anywhere? Yes.

With a single username and password, parents/guardians can access the following information for each of their children attending an HSD school:

Can you access your child's school records?

Your child’s records can only be accessed by authorized school officials, and those with whom you share your password.

Can a parent portal be forwarded to a guardian?

Legislation dictates that Parent Portal information can only be forwarded to the legal guardian. Therefore, for all children in the care of Child and Family Services, the Access ID’s will only be sent to each child’s legal guardian (their assigned CFS Worker).

KKTV: Free before- and after-school child care for Harrison School District 2 families already has over 1,000 students enrolled

D-2 kindergarten to fifth graders can show up to 14 locations in the district five days a week. The program began in August and already has about 1,012 students enrolled.
