Why is Howard University the only HBCU with a middle school?

Being the only HBCU to host a public charter middle school on campus is a demonstration of. our school’s founders understanding of the importance of creating a pipeline to STEM careers for adolescents. The vision was realized in 2016 with the first Howard University STEM graduates who had completed middle school at (MS)2.

What forms of payment does Howard University accept?

Students who have a pin number and Howard University ID number may pay by credit card on the internet by logging into the payment system. Visa, American Express, MasterCard, and Discover are accepted. Money Order / Cashier's Check / Certified Check

What happens if I am late on my Howard University student account?

Students are asked to monitor their student accounts frequently. A $100.00 late fee will be assessed a $100.00 late payment fee each month the balance remains. Howard University offers installment plans for the fall and spring semesters. When registration for the plan opens in July and December (respectively), students can sign up via E-Pay.

Payment & Fee Deadlines

Payments, including third-party payment authorizations, for the Fall 2021 semester are due on Monday, August 9, 2021. All third-party payment authorizations should be submitted to the Third-Party Billing Department via email at thirdparty@howard.edu, or you may submit these documents in person to suite 218, located inside the Administration Bldg.

Late Payment Fees

Students who have not either satisfied their bill or enrolled in the Installment Plan by the payment due date (s) are subjected to a $100.00 late payment fee each month an outstanding balance remains on the account. Students are asked to monitor their student accounts frequently.
