What is MyMy Cal Poly portal?

My Cal Poly Portal connects students, staff and faculty to campus apps and information. The Portal requires a Cal Poly username and password for access. Once logged in, users can find quick links to campus apps like PolyLearn and Canvas, manage their personal information, access email & calendar, and receive important campus notifications.

University Housing Move Out Information for Former Residents

Former residents that left items in their room due to COVID-19 can now schedule a move-out appointment to retrieve their items. Please encourage your student to utilize their Housing Portal to select from scheduled move-out arrival and departure times over a period of weeks.

Campus Health and Wellbeing Group Therapy Offered Virtually

Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, in order to maximize student access, all group therapy for Spring 2020 will be offered in virtual formats. Group Therapy is when a group of no more than 8-10 students meet with 1-2 therapists for 60-90 minutes.

TRIO Achievers Accepting Student Applications

TRIO Achievers program, also known as Student Support Services (SSS), is funded by a grant from the U.S. Department of Education and has been a part of Cal Poly services to students since 1984. We aid at least 258 active students every year. Students who participate in the program come from every academic department and major on campus.

What to Pay

Cal Poly Charges Tuition-Registration one quarter at a time, based on enrollment. On Campus Housing and Dining charges are usually posted for the entire year.

When to Pay

Registration-Tuition Fees are posted on a quarterly basis. The system-wide "Fee Past Due Date" shows for ALL students (regardless of Financial Aid status) in the "Unpaid Charges" sub-tab of Money Matters as well as "Activity Details" in the payment portal or "Charges by Due Date" in Share My Information reports.

Financial Aid

Student Accounts did a SLO Days Orientation program about Money Matters for Mustang Supporters. The slide deck from that presentation inlcuded a punch list of focus points for the summer as well as several tips on how to make paying for a Cal Poly education as simple and stress-free as possible.

How to release student account information?

Student must enter this information through the "Authorization to Release" link under Personal Information. Each person authorized will need to know the Access Code assigned to them by the Student.

Can Cal Poly students share financial information?

Without explicit consent, Cal Poly staff cannot share information or conduct financial transactions directly with anyone but the student. Cal Poly provides three ways to allow others to receive information or perform financial transactions on a student’s behalf:

Using Financial Aid

Financial Aid is managed by our Financial Aid Office. All questions about Aid prior to disbursement should be directed to them.
