Hamilton Middle School fosters lifelong global learners, through the nurturing of a compassionate and intercultural community that leads change towards a more peaceful world. As international educators, we promote balanced academic, physical, artistic, and emotional development for all scholars.

School Hours

School doors open at 8:55 AM. School begins at 9:05 AM and ends at 4:05 PM. All scholars are provided with a Grab-and-Go snack bag and FREE lunch in the cafeteria. Lunchtimes are as followed: 6th grade at 1:03 PM, 7th grade at 3:33 PM, and 8th grade at 3:33 PM.

COVID Protocol Update

Nominate a Wichita Public Schools employee for the Excellence in Public Service Award

Employees and residents are encouraged to nominate public service employees for the annual Excellence in Public Service Award. The nomination process is open through 5 p.m., March 4.

Students can get homework help through Revolution Prep

New this year, middle and high school students can receive homework help in 30 different subjects with Revolution Prep.

BOE approves 2022-23 school year calendar

The Board of Education approved the 2022-23 school year calendar during its February 7, 2022 meeting. The first day of school for all students is August 15.

COVID-19 Vaccine Clinics for staff, parents and students - MORE DATES ADDED!

WPS will offer opportunities for anyone 5 years old and older to receive the COVID vaccine or a booster for adults 18 and older at the Alvin Morris Administrative Center.

WPS changing COVID positive case isolation protocol

After reviewing the most recent guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and the Kansas Department of Health and Environment, the Wichita Public Schools will change its COVID positive case isolation protocol to align with CDC guidelines, effective Wednesday, January 12.

Four high school choice programs offered for upcoming freshmen

All WPS incoming freshmen for the 22-23 school year have the opportunity to apply to one of our four high school choice programs.
