The Hamblen County Department of Education utilizes a notification system, called SchoolMessenger, to contact parent/guardians in a fast and efficient manner with important school information and emergency school or district information who have students enrolled in the district.

How much does childcare cost in Hamblen County?

Students that are ages 4-12 years of age and attend a Hamblen County School are eligible for childcare. ESP offers afternoon snacks, homework assistance, games, crafts, self-directed and group participation activities. Full-Time Weekly Rate $45 (one child) $25 (each additional sibling)

Is parentportal available 24/7?

Parent access to ParentPortal is available 24/7 (24 hrs/day, 7 days/week). At some times throughout the school year, ParentPortal may be unavailable for short periods of time due to routine maintenance and periods of high volume usage.

Do I need a parentportal account to register for new student registration?
