What is a parent as teacher?

Parents As Teachers. Voluntary parenting education and family support program serving families throughout pregnancy until their child enters kindergarten. The mission of Parents As Teachers is to provide the information, support, and encouragement parents need to help their children develop optimally during the crucial early years of life.

What is the purpose of the Parent Teacher Association?

Parent Teacher Association (PTA)/Parent Teacher Student Associations (PTSA) The mission of the PTA/PTSA is threefold: To support and speak on behalf of children and youth in the schools, in the community, and before governmental bodies and other organizations that make decisions affecting children.

Primary Care

Cook Children's pediatrician offices are offering video visits to help provide the quality pediatric care you expect from Cook Children's. These visits can be done from home on a phone, tablet or computer with a webcam. In preparation for a visit:

Urgent Care

Connect to Cook Children's urgent care team without leaving the comfort of your home. Cook Children's patients with a MyCookChildren's account now can video chat with one of our medical experts for non-urgent medical conditions without visiting the doctor's office.

Specialties

Cook Children's patients with a MyCookChildren's account now can access our Specialty Video Visit service to have a remote visit with their current Cook Children's specialist.
