Is the ESD® parent portal available to all parents?

Yes, the parent portal is available to all parents and guardians of students attending Sullivan West schools. The eSD® Parent Portal is best viewed using Internet Explorer 7 or Internet Explorer 8 in “Compatibility Mode;” Safari™ 3.4; or Safari™ 5.0.3. To ensure that eSD® performs seamlessly, please adhere to the requirements listed below.

How do I create a Parent Portal account?

Contact your child's school to have your parent account created. You will need to provide them with your student (s) names and a valid email address for your portal account. Once the school has created your account, you will login at gcsd.powerschool.com. Already have an active parent portal account?

How do I create a parent/guardian account?

In order to access the portal, all parents/guardians will need portal accounts. For help with this process, please refer to the steps listed below. Contact your child's school to have your parent account created. You will need to provide them with your student (s) names and a valid email address for your portal account.

FORGOT MY PASSWORD

You must know your Username, which is the email address you registered with. Click here.

REQUEST A "NEW" PARENT PORTAL ACCOUNT

You must have a valid email address, your child's Date of Birth, and your child's Local Student ID. You may also use his/her SSN as an option, although not required. Click here.

REQUEST FOR "FOCUS PARENT PORTAL" ACCESS

You must also complete and sign the "Request for Focus Parent Portal Access" form and return it to your child's school. You may also add your other children during this registration process. It is only necessary to return one Access form but each child must be listed at the bottom of the form. Click here.

ADD A CHILD TO YOUR EXISTING PARENT PORTAL ACCOUNT

You must have your child's Local Student ID, or SSN, and Date of Birth. Click here.

When are grades shown in eSchool?

Grades are only shown after teachers have finished entering them in the eSchool gradebook and have published them to the portal. It is at the teacher’s discretion when those grades are published to the portal. A teacher may also be out when assignments are due.

PowerSchool Parent and Student Portal

The PowerSchool portal will provide parents and students with easy access to:

Parent Access

Contact your child's school to have your parent account created. You will need to provide them with your student (s) names and a valid email address for your portal account.

Student Access

Students use their district Google account to login to PowerSchool. Student can access their student portal through their ClassLink or click Student Sign-In at gcsd.powerschool.com.
