George Mason University does not mail grades to students or to their parents. Grades are available for students to view online through Patriot Web. Students wishing to share their grades with their parents can submit a request for a transcript, which then will be mailed to an address of their choice. May I access my child’s academic record?

Why do we have parental leave at George Mason University?

What time does GMU open?

How long do you have to contact a Benefits Administrator before you can take parental leave?
Leave Usage. Employees should contact a Benefits Administrator at least thirty (30) days in advance of the leave period to begin the parental leave process. Proof of birth or legal custody documentation will be required.
Where is the lactation room at GMU?
This lactation space is an internal office within the Nguyen Engineering Building . All who need access should contact Patricia Sahs at psahs@gmu.edu, at least one day in advance to request use of the space. Availability for the space will vary based on use of the office. If you experience issues with this space, please contact Patricia Sahs.
Can you take parental leave in one semester?
The Work Relief Combination can be taken 100% in one semester, 50% in two semesters or some other Work Relief Combination that makes sense for the faculty member and the department.
Is parental leave part of FMLA?
Paid parental leave runs concurrently with the FMLA period. It may be used in conjunction with other paid and unpaid leave for the full FMLA period.

How to upload documents to patient portal?
How to upload documents in the patient portal. Step 1: Scan and save your documents individually to your computer or take a picture. This is completed outside of the patient portal using your scanner software or smart phone. If you are uploading multiple documents, you will need to scan/take a picture and save each document as a separate file.
What is the fee for a check returned to George Mason University?
Third-party checks not accepted. Must be payable in US dollars. For each check returned by the bank unpaid, a $50 return check fee will be charged.
What happens if you fail to meet your financial obligations to the University of Virginia?
Failure to meet financial obligations to the university will result in other collection procedures, which include account referral to credit reporting bureaus, private collection agencies, the Commonwealth of Virginia Department of Taxation, and the Office of the Attorney General. Past due accounts are subject to garnishments, liens, and judgment and the withholding of money from tax refunds. In addition to late fees and interest, delinquent accounts will be assessed additional collection costs equal to thirty percent of the past due balance, reasonable attorney fees, and other administrative costs.
What services are not available to students with a financial balance due?
Services, including but not limited to transcript issuance, diploma release, class registration (add, drop, withdrawal, etc.), and/or housing and meal plans will not be provided to students with a financial balance due or a hold of any kind on their record.
Does the University accept delinquent accounts?
NOTE: All payments for delinquent accounts in collections or at the Office of the Attorney General must be made to the respective agency. Payments are not accepted through the University
