How do I login to the Genesis Parent Portal?

1. Instructions to Login Go to the Genesis Parent Portal and enter the username (your full email address) and password that was emailed to you. If you do not know your username and password, click "Forgot My Password". At the prompt, enter your email address that is on file with the school district.

How do I view my child’s data in Genesis?

What do I do if I don't have a Genesis account?

If you do not have a login to Genesis, please contact your child's school and they will be able to help you. If you have been locked out of your account, or have forgotten your account information, please contact your child's school to have your account unlocked.

How do I get my Genesis username and password?

All families are emailed a Genesis welcome letter upon entering the River Dell Regional School District. This email includes your username and password. Please keep your login information in a safe place, as you will use this account throughout your child/children's time at River Dell.

My contact information has changed. How do I update my contact information on Genesis?

It is very important to maintain current emergency contact information for your child\children at all times. Please review the information on the CONTACTS screen.

How do I switch from one child's information to another child's information in Genesis?

The name of the currently selected student is displayed in the 'Select Student' dropdown at the top of the screen. To pick a different student, click the 'Select Student' dropdown and choose the name of the student you want to select. Once you have done that, the tabs will take you to the newly selected student's information.

Can I notify the school of my child's absence through Genesis?

What is a parent username?

Parent usernames are typically the email address that is on file with the district. If you do not know your password you can request a temporary password by click "forgot your password". If you do not receive the email after 30 minutes, please check your spam folder for an email from genesis_no_reply@chclc.org.
