Please fill out the form completely and promptly return it to the school so that the account can be created by Computer Services. Parents can receive emails or text messages automatically for the following actions: A new form has been posted for you (Messages) A new document has been posted for you (Messages) A grade has been updated in a teacher’s gradebook (Gradebook grades) A letter has been generated for one of your children (Letters)

Do all students in grades 6-12 have access to their own account?

All students in grades 6 - 12 have their own access accounts. Because of this there is no need to let them use your account or give them your password. Student accounts do NOT have the ability to see contact information or sign forms electronically, but they can see everything else the parent account can see.

In this era of Internet access, it is important to always properly close your sessions so that unauthorized persons cannot gain access to your information. This applies not only to Genesis, but to every Internet/Web application you use.

How to find class attendance in Valley View?

If your child is in Valley View and has separate courses, Class Attendance shows you their attendance for each separate subject. You must click the 'Class Attendance' tab to find this information . (This will not be active until we return to an all in-person schedule)

When to click Save All Changes?
