What is Alma?

Alma is Foundation Academies’ new student information system – parents will access the new system through an upgraded Parent Portal interface.

How do Parents access the new system?

If FA had your email address listed in the old system (SchoolBrains), you should have received an email last month from notifications@getalma.com. This email contained your username (firstname.lastname) and a link to set your password.

In the future, you can reach the links to your Parent Portal from the Home Page under “Parent Resources” here. Just scroll down and select the button under the “Alma” photo.

Attendance

If your child is absent from school in grades 7-12 and attends our Tilden Campus, email attendance@foundationacademy.net. Indicate your student’s name, grade level, date of absence, and the reason for the absence.

  1. If you did not receive (or lost) the Alma activation email, please contact your student’s advisor.
  2. If your email address is already in the system, they can send you a password reset email.
  3. If your email address is not in the system, they will contact the office to update your information, and the activation email will be sent in a few days.
  4. Look for an email from notifications@getalma.com, and follow the steps in the email to activ…
