What is the extended day program?

The Extended Day program is a Before/After School Child Care Program for elementary through high school aged children. Supervision is provided at a ratio of 1 adult to 18 children at the Elementary level and a ratio of 1 adult to 24 for children at the Middle/High School levels.

Will you accommodate extended day needs for the 2021-2022 school year?

Please be patient, and we will make every effort to accommodate extended day needs for the 2021-2022 school year. PLEASE NOTE: Submission of an application does not guarantee enrollment in the Extended Day program. Also, a processing fee will apply to each transaction. Space in the after-school program is limited.

When does extended day registration open for 2021-2022?

Extended Day registration for the 2021-2022 school year will open the week of July 26, 2021. Please check back here for additional details and information on how to register your child for Extended Day when that time arrives.

Where can I Find my Account Number for extended day?

Account numbers can be found on all Extended Day invoices. If you are a new family that has never used Extended Day, please click on the link provided below to enter the lottery. This link is only for families that have never used Extended Day. (The link will be available on 7/14/2021)

Where is EDS located?

During the school year, EDS is located in all three Upper St. Clair elementary buildings - Baker, Eisenhower and Streams Elementary Schools and in Boyce Middle School. We operate from 7:00 AM until the beginning of the school day and after school from the end of the school day until 6:00 PM. EDS accepts all ELRC funding.

Does EDS accept ELRC funding?

Kindergarten children enrolled in either K-Plus program may also attend the before school program or after school program. EDS accepts all ELRC funding.

Is there a waiting list for after school programs?

Space in the after-school program is limited. Our program sites fill up quickly and usually generate a waiting list. The number of children enrolled at each site is determined by how much physical space is available and the number of staff employed. We encourage you to register as soon as possible. Registration is open to all students. Once a site is full your child will be placed on a wait list and included in a lottery for any spaces that become available.
