What is the ESA program?

Welcome to ESA. The Empowerment Scholarship Account (ESA) program is an account administered by The Arizona Department of Education that is funded by state tax dollars to provide educational options for qualified Arizona students.

What if I Have Issues with my ESA account?

If you are having issues with your ESA account (login credentials and/or password), please call 602-542-7378 or 602-542-2222 or send a Help Desk Request. ESA Recipients are contractually obligated to turn in a Quarterly Expense Report.

How do I receive payment from Arizona's ESA program?

Your school should request to be signed up to receive payment from Arizona's ESA program. The reimbursement option is located on the homepage of your student’s account. What is a child of a military parent?

Children of active-duty military parent. Children of a military parent killed in the line of duty. Children of parent who is legally blind, deaf or hard of hearing. Students attending a D or F rated school. Students residing within a Native American Reservation.

Is ESA accepting applications for 2021-2022 school year?

ESA is now accepting applications for the 2021-2022 School Year . The deadline for Quarter 1 Funding of the 2021-2022 School Year has passed. The application for Quarter 2 Funding is now open.
