Visiting

Elizabeth Seton Children’s Center’s visitation guidelines were developed with the consideration of each resident’s physical, mental and psychological wellbeing and quality of life, while recognizing the necessity to protect and reduce the risk of transmission of the COVID-19.

Better Together

Families, as equal partners, contribute to their child’s goal-setting, participate in school-wide and classroom activities and attend regular conferences and Open Center Night. We engage our families with child-specific communication notebooks, newsletters, emails, mailings, frequent phone contact and many opportunities to visit.

Support Services

We want our parents to feel empowered to care for their children at home where they grow and mature in the family environment knowing that the Rehabilitation Center will be a consistent source of support and assistance in the many years ahead.

Donor Impact Report 2019

At Elizabeth Seton Children’s, we derive inspiration from the extraordinary children we care for and love each day. In 2019, that inspiration took us to new heights.

Meet Stephanie

With her trendy outfits, sparkling jewelry and camera-ready makeup, 21-year-old Stephanie is one-of-a-kind. She lights up the hallway as she wheels by waving at her friends.

Donor Impact Report 2018

In 2018, Elizabeth Seton Children’s community of supporters helped create possibilities for more than 4,000 children with complex medical needs at our children’s center, school and rehabilitation center.

Meet Mia

Like so many mothers, one of Liz Finnegan’s favorite personality traits of her 3 ½-year-old daughter is her zest for life. “It gives me so much peace,” she said. “She is social, loves to sing and dreams about being a princess; I swear we’ve seen ‘Beauty and the Beast’ 150 times,” she laughed.

Meet Max

Rachel Amar, the mother of Max, has faced a difficult journey with her son, which began when Max was born with brain stem atrophy, a diagnosis that doesn’t allow him to breathe, swallow, regulate his temperature or move on his own.
