How do I access the parent module for Genesis?
Click above to access the parent module. We are happy to announce the Parent Module for Genesis, the online student information system, is now available to all parents. This web-based system will enable you to access your student’s grades, attendance, and other important information from any computer with an Internet connection.
Can I install the parent portal app on my mobile device?
After you have created a parent portal account, you will be able to install the mobile app to get information when you want it, anytime, anywhere from your IOS or Android Device.
Dance Fit Party Fundraiser
This year Edwins Elementary is trying something new. We are working with Boosterthon to create a FUN fundraiser. Our students will all participate in a high energy Dance Fit Party on Friday, January 21. While they dance and have fun, they will also earn money for our school. For our first year, we have set a goal of $5,000 to help support our Jr.
Community Partnership and New Sign
Edwins has joined FWB Machining in a new partnership. This locally owned company will start bringing experts to campus next month to engage our 5th grade students in hands on activities to get them interested in the field of machining and engineering.
Astronaut visits Edwins
We were lucky enough on Friday to be visited by NASA Astronaut Don Thomas. The four-time space shuttle traveler visited with our 4th and 5th grade students and shared his inspiring story of perseverance and hard work. The kids loved the presentation and had such great questions. We can't wait to have him back!
iReady Mid-Year Assessment
In the coming weeks students will be taking the iReady 2nd Diagnostic. This important assessment provides teachers with information about students growth and areas that still need intervention. Please ask your student about their iReady scale score goals and find out if they met their growth target.
