Edison Local Schools has used five calamity days this school year (four due to the weather and one for Navy Corpsman Max Soviak's funeral). If we experience another calamity day, please understand that teachers will deliver instruction and/or assigned work through use of a Blizzard Bag .

Safety Procedures

The safety and welfare of our students and staff is our highest priority at Edison Elementary School. We practice safety drills throughout the year to help our students know what to do in an emergency. The Division of the State Fire Marshall has guidelines regarding emergency response drills that each school must adhere to.

Universal Pre-K Registration Begins March 1

Online registration for students entering Universal Pre-Kindergarten next year begins March 1. We are excited to offer both a full-day and half-day UPK option. More information can be found here.

KT Athletic Director Earns National Recognition

Athletic Director Brett Banker will be awarded the NIAAA Award of Merit, the highest distinction that can be presented by the organization representing athletic administrators across New York State.
