What does it mean to come to camp?

To send your child to camp it can be inferred that you trust them to make good decisions. We help foster that inner responsibility and hope that campers carry this understanding with them for the rest of their life. Echo Hill Camp is designed to help kids discover, embrace, and cherish the outdoors. Year after year, campers leave Echo Hill with a new found appreciation for the outdoors. Even more incredible is that campers discover this love for the natural world all on their own. We simply provide the opportunity for them to explore.

How old is Echo Hill Camp?

Echo Hill Camp is a sleep-away summer camp for 150 boys and girls, ages 7-16. We are dedicated to helping children have a happy, exciting and meaningful experience while they build self-confidence and gain respect for themselves and others in a safe and nurturing environment.

Why is camp so special?

The break from cell phones, iPods, television, computers, and all electronics is one of the things that makes their time at camp so special. Campers have a chance to bond with others, build their social skills, and have fun just being a kid.

At Echo Hill Ranch we seek to foster a community and connection among children and families who have had similar life experiences and are taking similar life journeys. Echo Hill Ranch is a camp 18 miles southwest of Kerrville, TX.

EXPLORE YOUR WORLD

Echo Hill Ranch gives children the ability to experience nature at its very best! Wallace Creek is a natural spring-fed creek which runs through the camp. Echo Hill, Mount Min, and Mount Baldy can be seen from the main flat. The canyons offer endless hiking opportunities. Cookouts and camping on the South Flat leave lasting memories!
