Substitute Teacher

I executed daily classroom lesson plans I Worked as special Education teacher for middle school. I secured a long term Assignment with a middle school in East Harlem assisting eighth Graders meet their modified graduation requirements. I Modified GRR curriculum for students with low cognitive functioning.

SDC - Teacher

I Taught students with neurological and learning disabilities.

I Worked to increase student motivation in their given assignments, structured and maintained orderly classroom environment. Given the Substitute of the Year Award by Rialto Unified School District.

I Instructed seventh and eighth grade self-contained. Developed and modified curriculum for a diverse range of learners. Taught English language arts and social studies. Participated on the safety committee, assisted other teacher with their IEP’s, Participated in testing and processing at district office. Excellent classroom management .

Assisted in developing the safety and discipline plan for the school, Assisted teachers with difficult students, Counseled and wrote reports on students, Prepared behavior plans for students, facilitate suspension meetings and parent conferences, Facilitated Professional development workshops on Classroom management, Supervised Lunch and dismissal

Sedalia School District 200

Smith-Cotton Tiger Tailgate, the school store at Smith-Cotton High School, is among 461 school-based enterprises nationwide, and just five in Missouri, to earn DECA Gold Level Certification for the 2021-2022 school year.

Due to the forecast for inclement weather, Sedalia 200 schools will be closed Thursday, Feb. 17. No CTC at State Fair Community College. Please stay warm and safe. Please note: When Sedalia 200 cancels classes, Boys and Girls Clubs also is closed.

The Missouri Course Access and Virtual School Program (MOCAP) has developed a catalog of virtual online courses for students. Students will be able to take an entire course from any Internet-connected computer, available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Additional information may be found at https://mocap.mo.gov/.
