What does AdventHealth offer Deltona middle school students?

As part of that program, AdventHealth will provide a liaison to work with school nurses, provide chronic disease education to parents and students, and provide eCare/telemedicine services, with full parent consent and collaboration. Deltona Middle School is proud to offer eCare/telemedicine services to all our students.

What is the parent portal?

The Parent Portal is a great way for parents/guardians to stay connected to their student's grades, attendance, assessments, and important announcements. Parent Portal accounts are available for all students enrolled with Volusia County Schools and are easy to set up.

What is the online school payments portal?

The Online School Payments portal is provided to parents to facilitate payment for school fees for a variety of products and services. Vie​​w​​​​​​​ ​

What is Focus Parent Portal?

Volusia County Schools is utilizing a new Student Information System (SIS) known as Focus Parent Portal . Infrormation about how to register for the new Focus Parent Portal account was distributed to your child the week of September 9th 2019. If you did not receive the letter from your student with the Parent Portal Pin, please contact the school.

Does Deltona Middle School have a security system?

Deltona Middle School has implemented a new security system to help protect our students. The Visitor Management System helps track guests, students, faculty, contractors and volunteers at our school, thus providing a safer and more monitored environment for the students. When visitors, volunteers, contractors or parents check-in, they will be asked to present a valid state issued ID for entering into the system. We ask for your cooperation in presenting your valid state issued ID when checking in at the school.

The district’s first major step in that process is to provide all students with a personal electronic device. Technology within education should have one basic goal: to enhance and positively support the learning environment. Increasing access to technology is essential for our students' future.

Can parents call in to grade level office?

Parents may call in and ask for the grade level office if they need to leave a message for their child or if they need to speak to their child. • Students must ensure that the telephone capabilities of their devices are turned off during the instructional day (i.e. ringer off, silent mode, cameras, videos etc.)
